Dear Community Member, In 2009 the business community, in cooperation with the Mandan City Commission, school board and park board embarked on a strategic visioning process. This ground-up effort gathered input from the community by holding focus groups, individual interviews and a conducting a survey. The results led to the creation of the Mandan Tomorrow plan.  In August 2009, the Mandan City Commission, school board, park board and Morton County Commission adopted the Mandan Tomorrow plan. The plan seeks to build on the success already occurring in Mandan. Specifically, the plan looks at how to enhance economic development, education and recreational opportunities to build a quality community.  This plan however, will not work unless the community continues to play a part in the process. On this site, the first year goals of the plan are outlined.
